In Shang Hai...

I arrived in Shang Hai yesterday afternoon, a bit tired, but mostly relieved. So far, everything has gone quite well; no bags are missing, all my paperwork made sense, and I got to eat some food (I've been told that you do not call Chinese Food chinese food in china, for obvious reasons).

Now, later will be the first day in the office, which I am quite excited about. I will take it easy today, making sure to get all my little paperwork details taken care of.

As a related note, The Program was a success. I have a theory about how to sleep prior to such a long and involved trip; making sure to adjust your tiredness days in advance of the trip itself, and not to change clocks until after you arrive. I made it, and woke up quite successfully before I needed to, which afforded me the opportunity to write this note.

I may write about the program in more detail at a later date.

If I can, I will post pictures up here as I'd rather them be available globally (no facebook lockin, please). Also, I will try to get together a list of language learning resources.
